The Rounding Experience
In a residential setting, experienced Vedic meditators will do "rounds" (multiple repetitions) of specialized yoga and yogic breathing followed by meditation.

Known as "Rounding", this is a process that releases years of stress over the course of a few days and yields the most profound meditation experience possible.

Immersion Intro to Meditation
Some course participants will be learning Vedic meditation for the first time during the retreat. This is an ideal setting for total immersion in your new practice. In addition to receiving personalized instruction, you will participate in Rounding, group meetings and have private meditation time without distraction to optimize your meditation experience.

Located approximately 30 minutes from Palm Springs International Airport, 1.5 hours from Ontario Airport, 1.75 hours from Orange County International Airport and 2 hours from Los Angeles. The high desert (3000 ft) locale boasts wonderfully cool evenings even during the warmest of seasons. The Joshua Tree National Park is only 6 miles away, and aside from the center's own hiking trails, nearby is a unique and beautiful marshland with additional hiking just minutes away. Most rooms have a beautiful natural stone wall and private baths. They are fully heated and air-conditioned. Bed linens, pillow, blanket, soap and towels are provided. You may wish to bring extra blankets.
